Tileable striped background patterns
Today we are giving away a set of 8 tileable textures with a striped pattern. You can use them for a wide variety of projects such as:
- backgrounds and web design
- custom fills in programs like Photoshop and Illustrator
- print work
- gift wrap
- fabric prints for fashion and household items
- real wallpaper designs for your living space etc..
Again we are providing 8 pre made .jpg tileable textures you can download below (530×530 300 dpi) and a .pat file containing all patterns you can download here.
How to install a pat. file
A pattern is usually an image that can be tiled seamlessly to create a pattern.
Once you’ve downloaded a pattern, you will have to unzip it first.
Than you have a .patfile that has to be installed in Photoshop in order to use it on your artwork.
Copy the .pat files into:
Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS\Presets\Patterns
To load a pattern set, first open Photoshop, go to the Patterns palette then click the small arrow in the top right corner and choose “Load Patterns”. Find the .pat file you have just copied to the Patterns folder in step 1, and hit ‘open’. Select ‘Add’ and voila. Next time you open Photoshop, the new patterns will be in the pattern library already..
