Today we prepared a rounded square Photoshop tileable pattern set with a retro touch. The patterns are made from rounded squares of different size and colors. You can use the patterns any way you want for free but we would appreciate if you spread the word if you like them. You can download the 6 patterns below or you can downlad the .pat file here.
How to install a pat. file
A pattern is usually an image that can be tiled seamlessly to create a pattern.
Once you’ve downloaded a pattern, you will have to unzip it first.
Than you have a .patfile that has to be installed in Photoshop in order to use it on your artwork.
Copy the .pat files into:
Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS\Presets\Patterns
To load a pattern set, first open Photoshop, go to the Patterns palette then click the small arrow in the top right corner and choose “Load Patterns”. Find the .pat file you have just copied to the Patterns folder in step 1, and hit ‘open’. Select ‘Add’ and voila. Next time you open Photoshop, the new patterns will be in the pattern library already.
I REALLY like these!!! Thanks Can I use these with some of my branding? (backgrounds, blog, etc.) I’m not sure if it will work with what I have already but I’m thinking of at least trying it. Let me know your thoughts. I don’t want to step outside the lines if you know what I mean. Thanks again
