Today we prepared 5 abstract textures. They are made in Photoshop from a different selection of textures you can find on our free textures website Startextures.com and using patterns that were posted in some of our previous posts. So the end result is a combination of patterns, textures and different colors. Textures are quiet large, 3000x3000px (300 DPI) and can be downloaded from our Flickr page.

This time the name of the game is pink! We prepared 14 seamless patterns made of beautiful abstract elegant lines in blue and green color.  The textures are 768×768 (300 dpi) in size and can be used for various projects in which the color pink is welcome. In my opinion these are one of the most beautiful patterns so far on our blog, but everyone has his own opinion. I hope you can use them well and as always the premade patterns can be downloaded below or you can get the Photoshop pattern file here.

This time we prepared a green abstract watercolor tileable pattern set in 12 variations. All 12 patterns are in green color, but you can change the color as u wish. Open the jpeg file in Photoshop, ad the desired color, ad the preferred mode and save is it as a pattern (Edit-Define Pattern). How to install a pat. file

A pattern is usually an image that can be tiled seamlessly to create a pattern.
Once you’ve downloaded a pattern, you will have to unzip it first.

Than you have a .patfile that has to be installed in Photoshop in order to use it on your artwork.

Copy the .pat files into:
Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS\Presets\Patterns

To load a pattern set, first open Photoshop, go to the Patterns palette then click the small arrow in the top right corner and choose “Load Patterns”. Find the .pat file you have just copied to the Patterns folder in step 1, and hit ‘open’. Select ‘Add’ and voila. Next time you open Photoshop, the new patterns will be in the pattern library already…
