I consider myself a big fan of worn, grunge and vintage looks, but i have decided to go a different way today. I made a set of 4 beautiful colored abstract backgrounds. The set contains 4 textures with different color gradients.
Today we are adding 35 new high resolution worn paint textures to Startextures.comlibrary. Photographs are mostly worn wooden and metal painted surfaces of old boats and harbor equipment. As usual all are available in 3 different sizes and are free to download under Startextures.com license.
Today i have prepared for you a set of colored backgrounds with a touch of retro. For basic element i used circles, i then set to four different compositions and used them as a base to experiment.
We are adding 40 new high resolution grunge textures to Startextures.com library. These were all photographed on Slovenian seaside ports, fishing harbors and a salt farm. Lots of them are old worn surfaces of decaying boats and none of the textures were modified in any way with Photoshop, so these are natural surfaces with a grungy look.
We are releasing the second volume of the Free worn lines Photoshop brushes. The brushes are made in 2500px*2500px resolution and the set contains 20 brushes. The pack is approximately 20 MB in size.
Today we added 71 new high resolution textures to Startextures.com library. You can find them in the metal (24), wood (19) and nature (28) categories. Nature images contain white and colored snowy surfaces, ice and some lakeside birds, metal contains some intensive colored metal surfaces and wood has a nice selection of worn wooden surfaces.
Today we are publishing another intensive colors grunge texture set. The textures were made with a similar procedure, with the exception of these being based on paintings. Because of the painting canvas the granulation of these textures is allot higher. I was aiming for a painters effect and i hope i was successful.
Today we are releasing a pack of 7 grunge striped textures. The textures were made with stacking multiple layers and using various custom made brushes made from selected textures you can find on our free texture website Startextures.com.
Today we are giving away a worn vector line Photoshop brush pack vol 1. Because the brushes are made in 2500px*2500px resolution and the set contains 20 brushes it will be released in 2 volumes. The pack is approximately 20 MB in size.
Where to post my design related links is a question that any new blogger / publisher who wants to build traffic for his website asks himself. There are many lists of websites circling the web that pile up links to websites that are publishing user submitted links and/or news. But how many of these do actually work and by work i mean do they generate traffic for your website.
