386 free textures megapack

Hello

The vacation time has come, and so we are releasing the remainder of textures we had on standby in one go. There was an addition of 386 high resolution textures on our website Startextures.com. We will be away for approximately a month and will be visiting Croatia and Holland. We hope to come back with a large collections of new textures and will be releasing them throughout the rest of the summer and beginning of autumn. The textures are spread through almost all the categories with the largest addition in metal, nature, paper and plastic textures and can be found by following the links below.

Grunge photo borders

Today we prepared something different. Here is a set of 6 grunge photo borders. There is allot of different similar items out there, but the truth is there can never be enough. You can use them to create any print project, like posters or fliers and they can be very useful in web design as backgrounds or you can use them as grungy wallpapers. With these you can create really stunning print or web graphics due to the size of the files: 4724*3150 (300dpi).
You can also use these as Photoshop brushes but you have to re-size them to the allowed brush limit which is 2500×2500 in Photoshop CS4. You can do this by clicking on Edit – > Define brush option in Photoshop. Your new brush will appear in the brush pallet.
You can also use these to fuel your creativity in Photoshop by cutting, modifying, adding new layers, effects and using blend mode to create your own photo borders.

Pink elegant abstract seamless backgrounds

Hello

This time the name of the game is pink! We prepared 14 seamless patterns made of beautiful abstract elegant lines in blue and green color. The textures are 768×768 (300 dpi) in size and can be used for various projects in which the color pink is welcome. In my opinion these are one of the most beautiful patterns so far on our blog, but everyone has his own opinion. I hope you can use them well and as always the premade patterns can be downloaded below or you can get the Photoshop pattern file here.

Tileable wood textures

With this post we went on more natural approach in design. We prepared 4 tileable wood textures that can be used nicely for web pages and can be great addition to your graphic library. Textures are 600×600 (300dpi) in size and can be downloaded below or you can get the Photoshop .pat file here.

Tileable grunge textures

Today we prepared a set of tileable grunge textures in 12 color variations. When you import the textures in Photoshop you can change their colors at your liking and can be used very well for photo overlays. When you apply it to the photograph and set the blend-mode to Multiply the design gets a not to obvious grunge effect. You can also use them for texturising brushes (in brush palette click twice on Textures and set the desired texture for your brush) or as a style for fonts or icons or just simply use them as web page backgrounds. Geometric b&w flower tileable textures

Today we are publishing a little different and special patterns in black and white technique. The patterns are made of stripes made in Illustrator and then transferred in Photoshop where they were modified into beautiful shapes that resemble flowers. The textures are great for backgrounds, borders and frames. The set contains 12 seamless patterns 704×704 (300dpi) in size and can be downloaded below or you can get the Photoshop .pat file here.

Concrete grunge textures

Its grunge texture time again. This time we went with concrete base and added effects and mixed in multiple other textures. The images are mostly in black and white tones and are full of scratches which makes them perfect to give a grunge feeling to your designs. They are great for use in photo overlays, various backgrounds, styles, custom fills and web design. The pack contains 6 textures in high resolution (3888×2592, 300dpi).

43 high resolution wood textures
